Children in Kinder through 6th grade learn basic Catholic teachings such as basic prayers, Ten Commandments, Beatitudes, Lent, Advent, Mary, liturgical year, etc. The formation during this years is about a relationship with God, as well as, discipleship with others. Prayer and Mass attendance are an intricate part during this journey.
The sacrament of Eucharist and Reconciliation is usually celebrated in a child's second grade of school. Much preparation must take place to receive these sacraments, along with attendance at Mass.
