Seeking Members to serve on the Parish Building Board

Are you interested in helping our pastor to meet the needs of the parish as they relate to the providing adequate and excellent facilities and an ideal environment?  

Consider serving on the Building Board.

The Building Board is seeking several new members to advise and consult our Pastor in support how the physical facilities can help advance the mission of the parish.

Eligibilty Requirements:

  • Eligibility to serve on the Parish Building Board is limited to practicing Catholics in full communion with the Roman Catholic Church and its bishops.
  • Specifically, eligibility for service on the Building Board is limited to fully initiated Catholics who are not restricted from full sacramental participation or are otherwise under canonical penalty or censure.
  • Employees of the parish, or members of their immediate family, are not eligible for appointment to the Parish Building Board.
  • No relative of the Pastor may serve on the Parish Building Board.

Preferred Qualifications & Experience:

  • Ideal candiates will possess a background in architecture, engineering, commercial construction, real estate, project management, or facility management.
  • Experience with budgeting, contract negotiation, and reviewing large capital expenditures is preferred.
  • All candidates should be abie to attend regular monthly meetings and dedicate time to overseeing ongoing campus projects.
