Ms. Karmen Chavez is proud to serve as the Principal at St. Monica Catholic School after completing 25 years in the Texas public schools, as a teacher and administrator. Her husband of 29 years, Xavier, also served in Texas public schools for 33 years, as a teacher and administrator.

Mr. and Mrs. Chavez are proud parents of twin daughters. Katarina, a graduate of the Oberlin Conservatory of Music and of the Ave Maria School of Law, is a practicing attorney in Naples, Fl. Briana, a graduate of MIT, is an electrical engineer for DisneyWorld in Orlando, Fl.
