GO, THEREFORE, AND MAKE DISCIPLES OF ALL NATIONS, BAPTIZING THEM IN THE NAME OF THE FATHER, AND OF THE SON, AND OF THE HOLY SPIRIT, TEACHING THEM TO OBSERVE ALL THAT I HAVE COMMANDED YOU. AND BEHOLD, I AM WITH YOU ALWAYS, UNTIL THE END OF THE AGE.
Objectives of the Mission of Evangelization
Evangelization calls for our continued transformation in Christ, our ongoing conversion. This nurtures us, makes us grow, and renews us in hope and holiness. Pope St. John Paul II, summed up the three objectives of the mission of evangelization:
• To proclaim the Gospel to all people
• To help bring about the reconversion of those who have received the Gospel but live it only nominally
• To deepen the Gospel in the lives of believers
