Divine Mercy Novena | la novena de la Divina Misericordia

Through St. Faustina, Jesus taught us to pray the Divine Mercy Chaplet and to trust in his Mercy. Lent is the perfect time to prepare for Divine Mercy Sunday—the week after Easter, falling on 27 April this year. This Feast was Instituted by Jesus himself and is a time of great Mercy. The Divine Mercy Chaplet is a perfect way to prepare. St. Faustina recorded in her diary the words of Jesus: “The souls that say this chaplet will be embraced by My mercy during their lifetime and especially at the hour of their death (754).” On the Feast of Mercy, Jesus promised, “…the soul that will go to confession and receive Holy Communion shall obtain complete forgiveness of sins and punishment (699).” Cards on how to say the chaplet are available at St. Monica’s.

We encourage you to pray the Divine Mercy Novena for nine days. The Divine Mercy Cenacles will be praying the Novena beginning on Good Friday April 18th. Come & join the Divine Mercy Cenacle in celebrating Divine Mercy Sunday April 27th with a bilingual chaplet & adoration being done in the parish hall at 3pm. Followed by a reception and fellowship and a talk on Divine Mercy.

los animo a rezar la Novena de la Divina Misericordia durante nueve días. Los Cenáculos de la Divina Misericordia estarán rezando la Novena iniciando el Día del Bien el Viernes 18 de Abril. Venga y únase al Cenáculo de la Divina Misericordia en celebrando el Domingo de la Divina Misericordia el 27 de Abril con una coronilla bilingüe y adoración en el salón parroquial a las 3 p.m. Seguido por confraternidad y charla sobre la Divina Misericordia.
