With My Own Church, you can:

  • Update family and member information, add photos, and set privacy preferences
  • Support the accuracy of your parish records and reduce paper
  • Access electronic giving statements at year-end or anytime
  • See envelope and online giving history
  • Browse the online parish directory to connect with other members

 

How to Register or Update my Parish Record?

  • Step 1: Account Request

Field

Description

Organization *

Select "St. Monica Catholic Church, Converse" from the list.

User Name *

Type your username.

Requirements:

  • Length: must be between 5 and 20 characters.

  • Characters: letters and numbers only: A-Z, a-z, 0-9. No spaces or special characters permitted.

The system checks your username to determine whether it is unique. If a name is already taken, the system displays a message to inform you that the username you requested is not available. You need to choose a different name.

Password

After your registration request is approved, you will receive an email containing your login information (your username and a temporary password).

**Check your Spam or Junk E-mail folder if you do not receive an email response to your request.**

 

  • Step 2: Personal Information

First Name *

Your first name.

Last Name *

Your last name.

Nick Name

Your nickname.

Primary Phone *

Your main telephone number in ###-###-#### format.

Requirement: ten digits only.

Birth Date *

Click inside the field and type your birth date in MM/DD/YYYY format. Alternatively, click and select a date from the calendar.

Country *

Select the country you live in.

Address *

Your address (number and street).

City *

Your city.

Region *

Your state or region.

Postal Code *

Your ZIP code or postal code.

Requirements:

  • Numbers only.
  • Length
  • U.S. residents: first five digits only (no PLUS 4).
  • Non-U.S. residents: no limit.

 

  • Step 3: Email Address

Current Email *

ParishSOFT Family Suite restricts users to one account per email address. Multiple accounts with the same email address are not permitted.

Your current email address.

Requirement: type the complete email address (for example, [email protected]).

After your registration request is approved, the system sends your username and a temporary password to your current email address.

Confirm Current *

Re-type your current email address.

Requirement: type the complete email address (for example, [email protected]).

Prior Email #1

A prior email address helps the system locate your family record.

If you have an email address that you used before the one you are using now, type it in this field.

Requirement: type the complete email address (for example, [email protected]).

Prior Email #2

A prior email address helps the system locate your family record.

If you have an email address that you used before Prior Email #1, type it in this field.

Requirement: type the complete email address (for example, [email protected]).

 

  • Step 4. Click "Submit Registration" to submit your information to the system.

The system attempts to verify your personal information.

One of the two results should occur:

1. If the system can verify all of the information in your registration request, it displays a confirmation message to inform you that your registration was successful. The system will send an email containing your login credentials (username and temporary password) to the email address you provided in your registration.

After you receive the email, log in to your account. Check your Spam or Junk E-mail folder if the email does not arrive within a few minutes after you submit your request. For login instructions, go to How to Log in to My Own Church.

2. If the system cannot verify all of the information in your registration request, it displays an acknowledgement message to notify you that your registration was received. Your registration request is put on hold until an administrator can personally review it.

Considerations:

Review time varies, but the process is typically completed within three days. Upon approval, you will receive an email containing your login credentials (username and temporary password). Check your Spam or Junk E-mail folder if the email does not arrive within that time frame. After you receive the email, log in to your account. If the system cannot verify the information in your registration request, it displays a message to inform you that the registration was not successful. The message provides one or more options to help you resolve the problem. Choose the option that best fits your particular circumstance.
