Adoration

"What wonderful majesty! What stupendous condescension! O sublime humility! That the Lord of the whole universe, God and the Son of God, should humble Himself like this under the form of a little bread, for our salvation"

"...In this world I cannot see the Most High Son of God with my own eyes, except for His Most Holy Body and Blood."

- St. Francis of Assisi

Come spend an hour of Eucharistic Adoration here at St. Monica! Adoration and Benediction is offered every Thursday from 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm, each Friday after morning Mass till 7:00 pm and on 40 hours of Adoration starting after Adoration Thursday night till Saturday morning the beginning of every month!

Eucharistic Adoration is the adoration of Jesus Christ present in the Holy Eucharist. In the many Churches that have this adoration, the Eucharist is displayed in a special holder called a monstrance, and people come to pray and worship Jesus continually throughout the day and often the night. Christ’s great love for us was shown when he was crucified on the cross to pay the penalty for our sins and give us eternal life. He loves us without limit, and offers Himself to us in the Holy sacrament of the Eucharist. Can we not give Jesus a few minutes of love and adoration in return? Click here to learn more about Adoration.
